10,000 Trees Planted At Calli Nature Preserve
The Calli Nature Preserve recently was enhanced by the planting of 10,000 trees. The trees were a result of grants from Duke Energy and U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The Calli Nature Preserve was donated to Jennings County Community Foundation by Dr. Jim Calli in honor of his mother and father. Calli Nature is one of the most beautiful Nature Preserves in Indiana and has played a long role in local history and culture.
